Broadview Energy Solutions B.V. (BES) today announces the acquisition of Roestvaststaalindustrie Westra B.V. (Westra), a Frisian family business with a rich history of over 100 years and locations in Elahuizen and Koudum.
The acquisition is primarily aimed at supporting and strengthening the rapid growth of DMT Environmental Technology BV from Joure. Westra already produces and assembles green gas and CO₂ capture systems for DMT. This successful collaboration will be further expanded. As a result, DMT can shorten delivery times, further increase quality, and bring innovations to market faster. In addition, Westra strengthens the other activities within the group, including the production of cryogenic storage tanks and trailers for liquid CO₂, LNG, bio-LNG, LIN, LOX, and LAR by Aritas Cryogenics in Turkey, as well as the leasing activities of Cryogenic Container Solutions B.V. in Rotterdam. Together, the companies are better able to offer customers a broad and integrated range of solutions.

DMT Environmental Technology
DMT is active in the rapidly growing European market for biogas. The company develops, supplies, manages, and maintains installations for upgrading biogas to green gas and for capturing the CO₂ released during this process for reuse.
