Using advanced membrane biogas upgrading equipment, our system efficiently separates carbon dioxide from methane without chemicals or high energy costs, simplifying the upgrading of biogas to biomethane.

Biomethane applications

The upgraded biomethane produced by the Carborex®MS system serves multiple purposes. As a substitute for natural gas, it can be injected into the existing natural gas grid. Alternatively, if no gas grid infrastructure is present, the biomethane can be utilized as a transportation fuel. In this scenario, the gas is either compressed to 250 bar, becoming Bio-CNG, or liquefied at -198 degrees Celsius, resulting in Bio-LNG.
