In our pioneering journey, DMT forges new paths by diving into the liquid carbon dioxide (LCO₂) industry. Our commitment is to convert CO₂ from a pollutant into a priceless asset to help redefine various industries.

Carbon dioxide is essential in the realm of agriculture where it fosters accelerated plant growth in greenhouses, which lays the foundation for abundant yields. In the beverage sector, CO₂ adds the fizz to drinks. In the food industry, CO₂ is indispensable for preserving and chilling foods and even plays a role in extraction and packaging.

Ensuring CO₂ liquefaction excellence and purity

The transformation begins at our specialized CO₂ liquefaction plant, where we manage a CO₂-rich stream sourced from the upgrader. Initially, our double-stage, oil-free compressor elevates the CO₂’s pressure, seamlessly transitioning it into the purification phase. Here, impurities, such as H₂S and volatile organic compounds, are removed, which enhances the cleaning process.

The next step involves the liquefaction unit, a critical component where the refrigeration system plays a crucial role in condensing the carbon dioxider. Unwanted gas such as CH₄and N₂ are methodically stripped away to maintain the liquid CO₂ product purity.

Our process concludes with the liquid CO₂ being moved into dedicated storage tanks or prepped for pipeline injection. We use advanced, automatic systems to constantly keep an eye on the operation which ensures that it runs smoothly and reliably.
